I realized in 1997 a CD-ROM containing many freeware and Shareware for Falcon 030 (Was distributed by Floppyshop) ![]() Select CD "Some of the best Falcon specific Public Domain, Shareware and Freeware releases. These include games, demos, graphics programmes, music programmes, product demos and more... A truly discerning collection for Falcon enthusiasts everywhwere." "Floppyshop are pleased to announce the release of their fourth CD-ROM title for Atari computers. It is an updated version of an excellent release originally titled Falcon 030 Version 1.00, which was compiled by Michel Goux and Thierry Benet who run the popular Azimut RTC bulletin board in France. "De naam is 'Select CD, Falcon 030 Version 1.00'. Samenstellers zijn Michel Goux en Thierry Benet uit Frankrijk." |
I had (a long time ago...) created a small association which distributed Falcon 030 freeware/shareware, at the time when Internet was not yet available everywhere. At that time there was no ADSL yet, but PSTN modems and very few packages (we paid per minute of connection). In short, I published every month a small newsletter and each member could for a small price get diskettes of specific Falcon 030 software. This association was called DOMPUB 030 (yes, the name of this website !) Here is a short interview in STRATOS n°1 (page 18) A follow-up in STRATOS n°2 (page 7) The membership form in ST ECHOS 10 (page 19) Dompub 030 mentioned in ST MAGAZINE N°120 (page 63) |

"The Frenchman Michel Goux has assembled all tools for a proper installation of GFA-BASIC for Windows 16 Bit (also known as Windows 3.1). All tools like IDE, Compiler, Linker, ExtTool, etc are to be downloaded into one new package. The package also includes tips for running the 16-bits version on more recent OS's like Vista-32 and Windows 7-32.". Look at here |
